In early 2005, John Fitzgerald approached this group of musicians to do some original music for his film, THE EMERALD DIAMOND. It was only natural that a group of musicians, who've been playing once a week for a few years at Fitzgeralds Tavern every Sunday night, would put together a great awray of Irish music.
